BOBBY JOE HARVEL SR. age 85 of Crossville, TN passed away January 7, 2026. He was born June 29, 1940 in Jonesville, VA the son of Isaac and Dora Wilder Harvel. He worked many years as a truck driver and was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by sons- Rick Hemming and his wife Emily, Joe Harvel and his wife Anja, Mike Harvel and his wife Rafetta and A.V. Harvel and his wife Erica all of Crossville, TN, daughter- Pamela Dalton and her husband Doug of Crossville, TN, companion of 26 years- Anna Wilson, grandchildren- Aiden, Molly, Shane, Megan, Jennifer, Michael, Joshua, Eric, Megan, Amy, Amanda, Christian, Beth, Jozy, Shelby, Rikki and Kricket and eighteen great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by former wife and mother of his children- Betty Sue Harvel, brother- Johnny Harvel and sister- Helen Pendleton.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday January 10, 2026 at 1pm at Old Fashioned Church. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 11am-1pm prior to the service at the church.
