Brenda Ann Radford Pierce, age 75, of Rockwood, passed away January 21, 2021. She came from Chatham Ontario Canada and moved to Baltimore, MD in 1963, then she and her family settled in Rockwood in 1967. While in Canada, Brenda loved to ice skate and in her teenage years she even completed ice skating competitions. Brenda used to work at the printing department at Roane State and after retiring from there she accepted a job at Reno’s Sporting Goods in the silk-screening art design department.  She enjoyed Rockwood BPW and Rockwood 2000 Club. She put a lot of her time into her oil paintings and pencil sketches for people here locally and in surrounding counties. She is preceded in death by her parents: Sidney and Barbara Radford; and sister: Linda Radford Helton. She is survived by her sister: Myrna (Larry) Powell of Rockwood; brothers: Stephen (Sharon) Radford of Rockwood and Richard (Laura) Radford of Evans, Georgia; nieces & nephews: Eric, Ashlee, Leslie, and Jeff; and great-nephews: Austin & Cooper. Cremation arrangements have been made per the family’s request. Evans Mortuary is serving the family.
