Funeral Services for Bruce McDonald, age 82, of Monterey, Tennessee, will be conducted on Friday, July 21, 2023, at 11:00 AM from The Chapel of Goff Funeral Home. Bro. Tony Phipps will officiate with interment to follow in the Clarkrange Cemetery. Mr. McDonald was born on Saturday, February 8, 1941, in Clarkrange, Tennessee, to the late James Chancey and Versa Anne Stout McDonald. Mr. McDonald passed away on Wednesday, July 19, 2023, at his home. Mr. McDonald was a self-employed truck driver. His wife and family were a priority. He was a man who took pride in his work and wasn’t afraid to get his hands dirty. He loved life and was always in the middle of all the fun. He was Methodist in faith. He was a member of Clarkrange Masonic Lodge F&AM #605. He is survived by his wife of almost 65 years, Justean Miller McDonald of Monterey, TN; 4 sons and a daughter-in-law, Steve McDonald of Cookeville, TN, Tim McDonald of Tennessee, Skip and Tammy McDonald of Clarkrange, TN, Scott McDonald of Crossville, TN; daughter-in-law, Theresa McDonald of Cookeville, TN; 9 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Mary Ann and Jack Slaton of Cookeville, TN; special nephew, Jerry Grant of Cookeville, TN. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Jane Grant; and granddaughter, Rebecca Key McDonald.
