Bryce Glenn (Bryant) Thurman, age 18 of Rockwood, passed away on Monday, June 22nd, 2026. He was born on March 17th, 2008. Bryce was an amazing son. He was the best brother and there is nothing he enjoyed more in his life than being with his siblings and his closest friends. He loved to swim with them, play video games or do anything they wanted to that they could be together. He was an all-around great kid. He loved to laugh and his laugh was so contagious to those he got to be around. He is preceded in death by his great-grandfathers: Jollie West, Elige Pelfrey, and Joseph Meyers, grandfathers: Darrell Glenn Bryant, and Ed Abston; great grandmothers: Bonnie Peters & Loretta Pelfrey; great uncle: Coy Abston; uncles: Andy Peters, and Wayne Bryant; aunts: Sharoma Kay McNeal Peters, Michelle Sullisz, Shannon Meyers, and Stephanie Renee Bryant. He is survived by:

The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 27th, 2026, from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm ET. Funeral service will follow at 3:00 pm ET with Bro. Bobby Lee officiating. Graveside and interment service will follow in the Glen Alice Cemetery in Rockwood. The family asks that donations be made to Evans Mortuary to help with burial expenses.
