BUTANE TORCHES RECALL; NOT CHILD RESISTANT

Sondiko has issued a recall for Butane Torches.
Product: Sondiko Butane Torches (Model S400), sold in single and two-packs, black and silver, with “Sondiko” on the nozzle and model number on the head.
Hazard: The torches lack required child-resistant mechanisms, violating federal regulations for multipurpose lighters, posing a risk of serious burn injuries or death to children.
Remedy: Full refund. Consumers should stop using, dispose of the torches, and contact Sondikodirt for return instructions.
Recall Date: April 24, 2025
Units: Approximately 33,650 in the U.S. and 1,425 in Canada.
