In loving memory of Carolyn Sue Hester (Susie or Sue), born on September 24, 1940, passed away peacefully on March 17th, surrounded by her family. She married her high school sweetheart Ray Edward Hester on August 22, 1959. They were married for over 65 years. Growing up in Coalfield, TN., and graduating from Coalfield High School. She went on to graduate from National Business College. She is a long-time member of Pine Ridge Baptist Church where she served the Lord with joy and gladness. She treasured being a Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother. Proceeded in death by parents Ambrose and Vada Christopher, AC Christopher & wife Sue; Brother-n-law Paul Robinson; Father-n-law & Mother-n-law Rhea and Edna Hester; sister-n-laws Kay Hester & Norma Hester.  Survived by Husband Edward Hester, Son Jeff Hester (Lisa), Lisa H. Chambers (Charley), Eva H. Rather (Keith), Suzanne Worsham (Chaz), Grandchildren: Jordan H. Grundy (Nathan), Lance Hester (Hannah), Laura Chambers, Clark Chambers, Brian Rather (Kate), Wesley Rather (Kayla), Andrew Worsham, Claire Worsham. Great Grandchildren: Reid Grundy, Augusta Grundy, Macy Hester, Jeffrey Hester, Olivia Hester, Reese Rather, Tatum Rather and Hayes Rather.

Services will be held at Pine Ridge Baptist Church 151 Edwards Road Harriman, TN. 37748, on Friday, March 21, 2025  Visitation will be held from  1-2:00. Funeral service will beginning at 2:00 pm  officiated by Pastor Randy Roper and Pastor Shawn Bruce. Interment to follow in Estes Cemetery, Coalfield.
