Carter Bruce Madewell, newborn, of Grimsley, passed away on Friday, October 20, 2023, at the Fort Sanders Hospital in Knoxville.

A graveside service will be held Monday, October 23, 2023, at 2 p.m. at the Potter Cemetery.

Carter Bruce Madewell is survived by his parents: Bruce and Nekia (Gibson) Madewell; grandparents: Brad and Mary Gibson and Wendell and Angie Madewell; great-grandparents: Madgelene Ailor, Bruce and Linda Madewell, and Blaine and Janie Robbins; uncles and aunt: Adam and Matraca Madewell, Josh Ashley, and Sammy Gibson.

He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents: Harold and Bertha Conatser, Paul Gibson, and Billy Ray Stowers
