CHARLES EUGENE BONHAM age 81 of Crossville, TN passed away Sunday evening on September 20, 2026. Charlie, as he was known to friends and loved ones, was one of four children, born February 12, 1945 in Martinsville, VA to parents, John Paul and Leona Bonham. Charlie spent most of his working life in the propane business before his retirement in 2001. He later moved to Crossville and worked part time for Spar-Gas.

Charlie is survived by his wife-Kay Bonham, daughter- Cynthia, grandson- TJ, granddaughter-Adalee, great grandson- Kinser and brother- Edward (Ruthann). Charlie will also be deeply missed by Kay’s daughter- Kemberly (Mark), granddaughter- Miranda (Clint) and grandson- Brad.

In addition to his parents, Charlie was preceded in death by his son- Chuck, who passed away in 2023.

Charlie loved God, his church family and many friends. He was known for his kindness, generosity, playful sense of humor and abiding love of family. We are all better for having known him and are thankful for his presence in our lives.

A Celebration of Life will be held Monday September 28, 2026 at 11am at Bethlehem Baptist Church. The family will receive friends on Monday from 10am-11am one hour prior to the service at the church. Pastor Mark Bass will officiate.
