Goff – Charles Ray Medley, of Grimsley Tennessee, passed away peacefully and surrounded by love at the age of 58. Born on July 19, 1966, in Crossville TN to the late Estel (Pop) Bilbrey and Mary Medley. Charles was a hardworking, prideful man who dedicated his life to his family, his work, and the land he loved. He is survived by his mother, Mary Medley; his daughter, Brigitte (Spencer) Delk; son, CJ (Marli) Medley; fiancée Heather Nagy; and his beloved grandchildren, Braxton Bridges, Briley Bridges, Kynnedi Delk, LoraLeigh Delk, and Declan Medley. He is also remembered by a host of brothers and sisters who will miss him dearly. Charles was preceded in death by his father, Estel (Pop) Bilbrey; his wife, Rhonda Medley; and his son, Scott Bridges. Charles spent many years on the road working in farming before transitioning to a career in carpentry, a trade he took great pride in. Whether tending to a job site or building with his hands, he always gave his best and took satisfaction in a job well done. Outside of work, Charles found joy in the simple things – working with cattle, nurturing his garden, spending time in the woods hunting, and making memories with his grandchildren. True to his nature, Charles faced his final illness with dignity and quiet strength, not wanting to burden others. His wishes were for a simple remembrance, and a celebration of his life on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at Isoline Baptist Church; 10016 US-127, Crossville, TN 38571; at 2:00 PM officiated by Brother Frank Kirby.
