The Man, The Myth, The Papa Charles “Russell” Davis, age 64, was born on April 7, 1961 to Cecil and Connie Davis and passed away on August 20, 2025 in Crossville, TN. He was a stone mason who worked across the country. Russell was a family man and enjoyed camping, fishing, and horses. Russell is survived by his wife- Wendy Riggs Davis; children- Brittany Turner, Charles Davis Jr (Holly), and Megan Davis; grandchildren- Emily, Summer, Mia, Jazzy, Peyton, Piper, Parker, Jacob, Ricky, Brylee, and Alex; sister- Jill Davis; brother- Christopher Davis; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents- Cecil Wayne Davis and Connie Sue Sherrill Davis; and sister- Deanna Bertram. The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 24, 2025 at Oaklawn Baptist Church from 2-4pm, with the service to follow, David Mahan officiating.
