Chassity D. Wright, 37
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Chassity D. Wright. A beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend who left this world on January 29th, 2025, at the age of 37 years old. Chassity will be forever missed by all who knew her.
Chassity was born on October 10th, 1987, in Knoxville, TN to William Wright and Angela Brown. She was a kind and loving person, vibrant and beyond talented doing hair and eyebrows. If you ever had Chassity style your hair you can say the queen of hair has retired her braiding skills to live in heaven. She touched the lives of many with her gift, and dedication of making you look good when you left her chair. She loved going to thrift stores and her daddy would dread seeing the many bags brought in the house and her saying “daddy that was something I couldn’t leave behind”. She received the caring hearts award for Alzheimer’s TN in 2024 for the best caregiver of the year. Chassity was a Christian and loved God. She is preceded in death by her grandfathers; Charles Wright and Walter Dulaney. Grandmothers; Thelma Dulaney and Macie Goins.
To cherish her love and memories Chassity leaves her father, William Wright (Moneka), Mother Angela Brown.
