Cheryl Murphy, age 41, was born on May 2, 1980 to Bobby and Judy Cumby. She passed away on April 1, 2022.

She enjoyed her family and had the biggest giving heart. She would give you the shirt off her back or help in any way she could. Her bringing a smile to someone’s face was the highlight of her day.

Cheryl is survived by her mother Judy Cumby; her children Daniel (Jasmine) Murphy, Emily (Seth) York, and Teresa (Brandon) Delawter; siblings Jeff (Dannielle) Cumby, Amanda (Scott) Moore, and Keshia (Brian) Selby; grandchildren Aerolynn York, Charlie York, Everly Delawter, MacKenzie Murphy, Dayton Murphy, and she was expecting a new grandson, Dyson Cole Murphy, who is expected to arrive next month. She had several nieces and nephews that she loved very much.

She was preceded in death by her father Bobby Cumby; son David Murphy; maternal grandparents John and Alice Bohannon; and paternal grandparents Casto and Ruby Cumby.

The funeral service will be held on Monday, April 11, 2022 at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 12 pm to 1 pm with the service to follow at 1 pm. Burial will be in Browns Mill Cemetery in Cookeville, TN immediately following the service.
