Funeral Services for Chiquita Jacqueline “Jackie” Melton, age 72, of Monterey, Tennessee, will be conducted on Saturday, April 22, 2023, at 3:00 PM from The Chapel of Goff Funeral Home. Rev. David Harris and Rev. Tony Phillips will officiate with interment to follow in the Midway Cemetery. Ms. Melton was born on Tuesday, July 18, 1950, in Crossville, Tennessee, to the late Dallas and Sibyl Brown Melton. Ms. Melton passed away on Tuesday, April 18, 2023, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. Ms. Melton was a factory worker. She is survived by, 2 sons and daughters-in-law, Tracy and Candis Melton of Crossville, TN, Scott and Anna Padgett of Crossville, TN; 3 grandchildren, Levi (Laura) Melton, Matraca (Adam) Madewell, Nicholas Padgett; great-grandson, Henry Cole Madewell; sister and brother-in-law, Chloe Melton-Cross (Roy) of Monterey, TN; and nephew, Kelly (Alyssa) Melton of Bethlehem, PA. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Dwight Melton.
