She moved to Crossville in 1986 where she spent the next 38 years. She lived with and cared for her brothers and in later years her mother.

She started at Hilltoppers working in the Men’s Group Home in the early 90’s, then worked with the profoundly mentally handicapped at Hilltoppers main center. It was her happiest and most rewarding job. She was at Hilltoppers until April of 2010 and continued to volunteer and stayed involved for years afterwards.

Chris attended the Cumberland Worship Center and loved her church family. She loved singing solo and with the choir.

Chris is survived by her sisters Kathy Gilland of Orlando, Debra Charnetzky (David) Bonnie Burnette (Chris), brothers Lee Cummings, Michael Cummings, all of Crossville and brother Rob Feamster (Linda) of Virginia. Preceded in death by her Mother Dell Boydston and sister Donna Garner.
