Christine Coultas Bilbrey, age 81, of Crossville, Tennessee, passed away peacefully at her home in the early hours of October 10, 2025, surrounded by loved ones.

Christy, as she was known by most, was born August 14, 1944, in Ventura, California. She was the daughter of the late John H. Coultas and Blanche (Hillman) Coultas.

Christy was a very classy and sociable lady with a strong, confident personality. She loved to entertain and participated in many community events and activities. She had a good sense of humor and loved to laugh. She was an excellent cook, enjoyed music and playing the piano, and loved her pets and wildlife. She is loved by many friends and family and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Christy is survived by her husband of 58 years, Dr. Richard Lee Bilbrey; son Richard Lee Bilbrey Jr., daughter Chelsea Rains, and daughter Mary Harrill and her husband Jeremy Harrill; grandchildren, Erin Grabein and her husband Andrew Grabein, Elise Davis and her fiancé Logan Stewart, Nick Harrill, Alex Harrill and John Rains; and great-grandchildren Payne and Lainey Stewart.

In addition to her parents, Christy is preceded in death by her brother, John C. Coultas.

A memorial celebration will be held at the Crossville Depot, October 27, 4 – 7 pm.
