Funeral Services for Christine Farley, age 78, of Sparta, Tennessee, will be conducted on Monday, October 12, 2026, at 1:00 PM from The Chapel of Goff Funeral Home. Bro. Mike Kirby will officiate with interment to follow in the Phillips Cemetery in the Anderson Community. Mrs. Farley was born on Tuesday, June 8, 1948, in Monterey, Tennessee, to the late Cordell and Rachel Phillips Harris. Mrs. Farley passed away on Thursday, October 8, 2026, at Life Care Center of Sparta. Mrs. Farley was a factory worker in the garment industry and worked with Perdue for approximately 20 years. She loved her grandchildren, great grandchildren, everybody, birdwatching, coloring, art, and the Titans. She was Baptist in faith and loved Jesus. She is survived by her daughter, Tina Melton; stepson, Mike (and Rene) Farley; grandchildren, Brittany (Steven) Jordan, Mackenzie (Noah) Sisco, Hunter (Michael) Reeder; great grandchildren, Gage Walker, Dixie Jordan, and Steven Paul Jordan; sister, Jerlean Bumbalough; special niece, Debbie Burke, and a host of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bazil Farley; brother, Lonnie Harris; and sisters, Mary Lou Poston and Bessie McCloud. The family wishes to express a thank you to Life Care Center of Sparta and a special thank you to Ken for all their love and care for Christine.
