Cindy Leonia Thomas Holloway, age 65, of Decatur, passed away on Monday, August 19, 2024.

She was the daughter of the late John Allmon and Berta Hembree Thomas. She attended New Salem Baptist Church and enjoyed fishing, swimming, listening to music, going to the beach and the movies. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband of 13 years: Don Holloway, children: Johnny (Kelly) Sherrill, Joey Sherrill, Eddie Holloway, Paige Holloway, brother: Eddie Thomas, grandchildren: Gavin Sherrill, George Trott, Summer Kinsey, Michael Sherrill, Alexis Clements, Nick Sherrill, great-grandchildren: Liam, Gracelyn, Skyla, several nieces, nephews, and other extended family.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, August 24, 2024, in the Chapel of Decatur Funeral Home & Cremation Services. Interment will follow in the Meigs County Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 12 noon- 2 p.m., before the service.
