Clarence Conley, 82

CLARENCE R. “SNOOKS” CONLEY age 82 of Crossville, TN passed away February 17, 2026. He was born July 4, 1943 in Crossville, TN the son of Hubert and Lilly Woody Conley. He was retired from Crossville Ford where he worked as an auto mechanic. Snooks was also a member of Lawrence Chapel Church of God of Prophecy and a veteran having served our country in the United States Army. He loved the outdoors, hunting and riding his side by side. He will always be remembered as a hardworking man, a farmer and mechanic. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and a wonderful neighbor. He was a unique man and to know him was to love him.

He is survived by his wife- Joyce Conley of Crossville, TN, sons- Freddy Conley and his wife Lisa, Wade Hassler and his wife Kelly all of Crossville, TN and Josh Holder and his wife Nancy of Fort Meade, FL, daughter- Pam Bible of Crossville, TN, brother- Robert “Bob” Conley and his wife Lynda of Augusta, GA, sister- Faye Howell of Crossville, TN, sister-in-law- Nancy Conley of Goose Creek, SC, grandchildren- Christopher Hassler and his wife Tara, Niki Massey and her husband Ryan, Parker Conley, Michael Bible and Autumn King and her husband Isaiah and several special great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son- Bobby Conley, grandchildren- Scottie Bible and Joshua Conley, brothers- Curtis Conley and Benton Conley and niece- Marsha Molands.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday March 21, 2026 at 1pm at Lawrence Chapel Church of God of Prophecy. The family will receive friends from 12noon-1pm one hour prior to the service at the church.
