A collision between two tractor-trailers on I-40 in Loudon County this morning resulted in no injuries but eastbound traffic was closed for nearly two hours. The report states 56-year-old Tomas Ortega Rodriguez of El Paso, Texas and 38-year-old Javier Michael Bolano Delgado of Spring Hill, Florida were traveling at the 364 mile marker.  Both drivers slowed for a nearby traffic crash. Rodriguez attempted to merge and reportedly failed to yield the right of way striking the other tractor-trailer. Both were restrained at the time of the crash.
