IAC (International Automotive Components) Dayton announces 44 workers in Rhea County will be released in February. The company filed with the Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development its plans for permanent layoffs early next year. IAC is a global supplier of automotive components and systems. According to their website, they have 19,000 employees, 50 manufacturing facilities, and 17 business and innovation centers in 17 countries.
