CRABTREE, HOWARD, KEY, ROSENBAUM AND WRIGHT TO SERVE PRISON SENTENCES

Fentress County Criminal Court Judge E. Shayne Sexton sentenced five individuals to prison this week. Each defendant was found to have violated the terms and conditions of their respective probation.

DERRICK LYNN CRABTREE: originally pled guilty to burglary on January 13, 2020. This past Monday (June 28, 2021), he was found to be in violation of the terms of his probation and was ordered to serve three years in prison.

ANTHONY HEATH HOWARD: originally pled guilty to aggravated burglary, theft under $1,000, and vandalism under $1,000 on May 23, 2016. This past Monday (June 28, 2021), he was found to be in violation of the terms of his probation and was ordered to serve six years in the custody of the Tennessee Department of Corrections.

JOHNNY DEXTER RAY KEY: originally pled guilty to theft over $1,000 and vandalism under $1,000 on September 17, 2018. On June 28, 2021, he was found to be in violation of the terms of his probation and was ordered to serve four years in prison.

DAVID ANTHONY ROSENBAUM:  originally pled guilty to violation of the sex offender registration on April 6, 2020. On June 28, 2021, he was ordered to serve the balance of his two year sentence in prison.

DUSTIN SHANE WRIGHT: originally pled guilty to theft over $1,000 on February 8, 2021. This past Monday, he was ordered to serve the balance of his two year sentence in the custody of the Tennessee Department of Corrections.

The violations were prosecuted by the Office of District Attorney General Jared Effler.
