Danny K. Davis, age 73, of Kingston, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 23, 2026, at Parkwest Medical Center in Knoxville. He was born on December 10, 1952, and a lifelong resident of Roane County.

Danny was a member of Tennessee Missionary Baptist Church and was a hardworking and talented mechanic. He worked at Jim White Chevrolet until 1972 and then went into business for himself as a mechanic, which included working on buses for the Loudon County School system. Danny enjoyed trucks of all kinds, loved painting cars and trucks, and building roll back trucks.

He was especially fond of his beloved dog, Lilly.

Danny was preceded in death by his parents, William Robert and Pauline White Davis; and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Roy Lee and Ruth Elizabeth Marney.

He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Tammy D. Davis of Kingston; his children, Danny R. Davis and wife, Becky of Kingston, Jammie K. Davis of Kingston, and Robert Lee Davis and wife, Sara of Kingston; grandchildren, Cameron Davis, Avery Davis, Ansley Davis, and Allison Davis. He is also survived by his brothers, Robert Paul Davis of Kingsport, Harold Joe Davis and wife, Lois of Kingston, and Stacy Ray Davis of Kingston; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Michael Ray Marney and Kathy of Kingston, and a host of extended family and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6:00–8:00 p.m. Friday, August 28, 2026, at Fraker Funeral Home.Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 29, 2026, at Tennessee Baptist Church with Rev. B.B. Ratledge and Rev. Yogi White officiating. Graveside services will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Michael Lee Marney, Chuck White, Albert Tate, Colby Gatlin, Chris Gatlin, Landon Morgan, Hammy Gatlin, and Mark Scott.
