Hood – Danny Lynn Dannel, 60 of Crossville Tennessee passed away on June 4, 2025.

He was born to Calvin and Tennie Dannel on November 6, 1964, in Crossville, Tennessee. From a young age, Danny had a deep love for the outdoors. He enjoyed spending time in nature, especially hunting and fishing which was two of his favorite pastimes. Whether he was casting a line or enjoying the quiet of the woods, he was at peace in the outdoors.

Danny was a Christian man with a big heart who would do anything for anyone, he truly would give the shirt off his back to help someone in need. He deeply loved his family, and his happiest moments were spent with them, making memories and sharing laughter.

He will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, and the love he showed to everyone around him. Danny’s legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Danny is preceded in death by his parents, Calvin and Tennie Dannel, brothers, Ray Dannel and PeeWee Dannels.

He is survived by his daughter, Tiffiny Allred (Thomas); his sister, Claudine Downs; his grandchildren, Ethan, Kylian, Karlee, and Kyndall; and his great-grandsons, Nixon Moseley and Baylor Buck.

A memorial service will be held on Monday June 16, 2025 at 12:00 PM. A visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the service from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM
