Danny Ray “Tucker” Brown, age 69 of Sunbright, passed away Saturday June 6, 2026.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Paula Isabel Brown; parents, Robert and Martha Viola Brown; son, Danny Ray, Jr.; brothers: Willis, William, and Allen Brown; sisters: Faye Carroll, Carolyn Carroll, and Kaye Watson.

He is survived by his son B.J. (Tammy) Brown of Pilot Mountain; grandson Brandon (Tori) Brown of Wartburg and great-grandson Willric; granddaughter Maggie and great-granddaughter; sister Connie (Larry) Smith; brothers Wallie (Marie) Brown, Tony (Jewell) Brown, Timmy (Loretta) Brown, and Martin (Robbie) Brown, along with several nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

The family is honoring Tuck’s wishes to be cremated.
