David Bowman, 66, of Harriman, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, February 15, 2025. David was born on January 23, 1959, and preceded in death by his parents Leland and Lucille Bowman, father-in-law and mother-in-law Hubert and Martha Hill, and sister-in-law Debbie Bowman.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Juanita Bowman, son, Drew Bowman and wife Amy of Kingston, and grandchildren Ella Faith and Reed Andrew also of Kingston. He is also survived by brothers Alvin Bowman, Jeff Bowman and wife Becky, brother-in-law Roy Hill and wife Gwen, several nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members.

David was a devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather. He loved his family and cherished every moment with them. He was a very intelligent man with a quiet, humble spirit. His former jobs include: Quality Control Manager at Alba Health in Rockwood, Plant Manager at Fruit of the Loom in Lenoir City, and owning a remodeling business.

He enjoyed music (especially bluegrass) and could often be found playing his guitar or mandolin. His presence, love, and care will be missed so much. Our hearts find comfort in knowing we will join him in Heaven soon.

A faithful member of Mount Pisgah Baptist Church, we are honoring David’s wish of a graveside service 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 21, 2025, at Mount Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery in Oliver Springs, TN, with Pastor Garvan Walls officiating.
