David Nelson Millwood, age 53, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on February 27, 2025.

He was a member of the Church of God.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Goldie and Delannie Millwood of Signal Mountain, TN, Minnie Lee and Nelson Kerley of Signal Mountain, TN.

Survivors include his children, Whitney (Tommy) Trew of Ten Mile, TN, Logan Millwood of Decatur, TN; parents, Marvin Millwood of Signal Mountain, TN and Carolyn Millwood of Decatur, TN; sister: Rene (Dee) Mounts of Dayton, TN; granddaughters: Hannah and Hailey Trew; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and other extended family.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at 7 p.m. in the Chapel of Decatur Funeral Home & Cremation Services with the Rev. Glen Key officiating.

Interment will be held on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, at 1 p.m. in the Meigs County Memorial Gardens. Logan Millwood, Tommy Trew, Eddie Simons, William Willbanks, Hunter Willbanks, and Joseph Mounts will serve as pallbearers. Dee Mounts and Richard Millwood will serve as honorary pallbearers.

The Family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. prior to the service on Tuesday.
