Funeral Services for Delbert “Deb” Holloway, age 100, of Monterey, Tennessee, will be conducted on Sunday, October 6, 2024, at 2:00 PM from The Chapel of Goff Funeral Home. Rev. Bobby Floyd will officiate with interment to follow in the Welch Memorial Cemetery. Mr. Holloway was born on Monday, June 16, 1924, in the Mill Creek Community, to the late Dallas and Nicie Foster Holloway. Mr. Holloway passed away on Thursday, October 3, 2024, at Standing Stone Care and Rehabilitation Center. Mr. Holloway was an electrician, plumber, and worked with McCord’s in Cookeville. He was a member of the Monterey First Freewill Baptist Church. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Faye and Jack Swafford of Monterey, TN; grandchildren, Cherie (Bobby) Buttram, Tim (Tammy) Swafford; great grandchildren, Dustin (Kristina) Buttram, Daniel (Blossom) Buttram, Zachary Swafford, Tiffany Sisco, and Ashley (Julie) Fossett; great great grandchildren, Layla Buttram, Timber Buttram, Layah Howard, Isaac Swafford, Ariana Goss, Anastasia Anderson, Braeleigh Fossett, Baylor Fossett, and a newborn grandchild; niece and nephews, Cathy (Donnie) Hammock, Lester (Ramona) England, Michael (Donnet) England, Manuel (Annette) England. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Nola “Nolie” Scarbrough Holloway; daughter, Betty Holloway; granddaughters, Tammy Hasty and Gina Phillips; great granddaughter, Jaclyn Phillips; sisters, Bessie England and Alene Johnson; and brother, Cordell Holloway.
