Funeral Services for Dennis Leonard, age 68, of the Muddy Pond Community, will be conducted on Sunday, November 30, 2025, at 2:00 PM from The Chapel of Goff Funeral Home. Rev. Abraham Leonard and Niece Ruth Guenther will officiate with interment to follow in the Pine Ridge Cemetery with Full Military Honors Provided by the Veterans Honor Guard. Mr. Leonard was born on Thursday, November 14, 1957, in Decatur, Illinois, to the late Dewey Herbert Leonard Sr. and Rose Agnes Walters Leonard. Mr. Leonard passed away on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at the VA Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. Mr. Leonard was a Maximum-Security Guard, a truck driver, exterminator, and worked at Walmart in the tire department in west Tennessee. He was an avid collector of different items. He was a retired United States Army Veteran serving during the Vietnam War. He is survived by his caregivers, niece and nephew, Ruth and Edwin Guenther of the Muddy Pond Community; sister, Linda Leonard of Arkansas; brother, Wally Leonard of Idaho; sister-in-law, Ann Leonard of England; and a host of nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Dewey Herbert Leonard Jr., Curtis Leonard, and infant brother, John Lowe Leonard; and infant sister, Mary Sue Leonard.
