DENTON PHILLIP SHARP age 64 of Crossville, TN passed away June 13, 2026. He was born December 11, 1961 in Monticello, KY the son of Allen and Tena Rigney Sharp. He was retired after many years with Aviagen in Crossville, TN. He was a member of Mountain View Church and attended many revivals and singings at surrounding churches. Denton was a man who loved the Lord. He was a devoted and faithful Christian who loved spreading God’s word to as many as possible.

He is survived by his daughter- Nakita Whittenburg and her husband Printis of Crossville, TN, grandson- Ryder Sharp, sisters- Martha Kilgore and her husband Ronnie and Paula Pryor and her husband Clydie all of Crossville, TN and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother- Kenneth Sharp.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday June 17, 2026 at 1pm at Hood Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 11am-1pm two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.The burial will be in Woody Cemetery.
