Diana Kay Meyer, 82
Diana Kay Meyer, 82, passed away peacefully on June 3, 2026, at her cabin in Jamestown, Tennessee, with her husband of nearly 60 years by her side.
Born February 20, 1944, in Hazen, North Dakota, Diana was one of five children born to Fred and LaVerne Mayer. Known for her faith, kindness, and devotion to family, she lived and traveled throughout Minnesota, California, France, and Florida.
Diana dedicated her life to serving others through her church, community, and family. She worked as the school secretary at Trinity Lutheran School in Orlando, where she also volunteered and became a beloved presence among students, staff, and families.
A talented quilter, Diana created handmade treasures her family will cherish for generations. Of all her roles in life, being a grandmother brought her the greatest joy.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Meyer; children, Mark Meyer, Christina Carey, and Tom Meyer; eight grandchildren: Megan, Grant, Delaney, Luke, Sadie, Kent, Landon, and Maddox; great-granddaughter, Millie; and brother, Monte Mayer.
Diana will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered. Her children are grateful to the Jamestown community for the care shown to their parents.
Services will be held Saturday, June 27th at 11:00 am at Allardt Presbyterian Church in Allardt, TN.
Jennings Funeral Homes was in charge of cremation, and the family is in charge of the services for Diana Kay Meyer of Jamestown.
