Diann Jean (Brown) Elmore, 77

Mrs. Diann Jean (Brown) Elmore of Albany, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, December 27, 2025, at the Cumberland Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, in Burkesville, Kentucky, having attained the age of 77 years, 7 months and 28 days. She was born in Albany, Kentucky on Thursday, April 29, 1948, the daughter of Ray & Mary Eva (Wallace) Brown. She was of the Methodist faith and a devoted member of Fairview Church. She served faithfully at the Clinton County Clerk’s Office for 31 years. Known for her wonderful sense of humor, she loved to laugh and found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She enjoyed watching television, especially Gunsmoke. She also enjoyed playing both the piano and organ and had a deep affection for her dog. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Eugenia Sue Scott.

She is survived by her husband, Jim Elmore of Albany, Kentucky, whom she wed on Friday, July 7, 1967; special caregiver, Tonnia Cross; niece, Tracy Zygmnnt of Pennsylvania; nephew, Chad Scott of Colorado, and many friends.

The funeral service was conducted on Thursday, January 1, 2026, at 2:00 PM C.S.T. in the Memory Chapel of Campbell-New Funeral Home with Bro. Joe Summers officiating. Burial was in the Memorial Hill Cemetery in Albany, Kentucky. Casket bearers were David Neal, Cole Nelson, Hunter Elmore, David Butler, Larry Booher, Ronnie Pyles and Doug Jarvis.
