Donnie Avery James, age 70 of Spring City, passed away Saturday, April 04, 2026 at home with his family by his side. Donnie enjoyed spending time with his family, loved all animals, especially dogs. He liked to tinker with old cars and trucks, and enjoyed fishing.

Preceding Donnie in death were his parents, Ralph Avery and Dorothy Mae Wallace James; brothers, Joe and Johnny James; and sister, Lacey Cox.

Donnie will be dearly missed by his son, Donnie (Betsi) James; grandchildren, Haylee, Blake, and Maycee; sister, Mae June Miller; brothers, Ronnie, Charles, and William James; special friends, Joe Human and Tracey Moore; his fur baby, Brown; nieces, nephews, cousins; and a host of friends.

A graveside service will be held by the family at 1:00pm CDT Tuesday, April 07, 2026 at the James Community Cemetery with Pastor Mark Latham. Burial will follow.
