Doreen Lynn Sisson, age 90, of Crossville, Tennessee, passed away at her home on May 8, 2022.

Mrs. Sisson was born on June 12, 1931, in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of the late Coy Ernest Lassiter and Mary Ann (Everett) Lassiter.

She is survived by her husband of 72 years, Duane A. Sisson; children, Paul D. Sisson (Nancy), Cheryl L. Vincent (Gregory), Robin L. Demyanovich (Edward), and Keith W. Sisson (Julie); 13 grandchildren: Rebecca, Eric, Abigail, Zachary, Nathanael, Tara, Chad, Megan, Melissa, Leah, Trenton, Bradley, Alexandra;21 great-grandchildren with more on the way; and special niece, Marla Sebu.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Scott Alan Sisson; and sister, Patricia Leedham.

Doreen was a homemaker, librarian, and water aerobics, instructor.  She and Duane enjoyed playing bridge, and golf and traveled extensively throughout the world.

A memorial service will be scheduled at Wheatland Evangelical Lutheran Church in Buchanan, VA at a date to be announced.
