A single vehicle accident in eastern White County this week resulted in the driver being charged. Trooper Jacob Groce says a 1990 Chevy Suburban driven by 50-year-old Trent Garland Davis of Sparta was traveling east on Highway 70 when the vehicle left the road and hit a rock embankment. Davis, who was not injured nor restrained at the time of impact, was arrested for DUI and taken to the White County jail.
