Mr. Elmer H. Steelman Sr, age 81 of Rockwood, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, November 18, 2024, at the Roane Medical Center in Harriman. He was born on April 29, 1943, in Crab Orchard. Mr. Steelman retired from the Roane Electric Furnace as a crane operator. He is preceded in death by his parents: Lester Steelman & Laura Pugh Steelman. He is survived by:

Children: Michelle Matthews (Thomas), Connie Long, Robert Steelman, and Elmer H. Steelman Jr.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 21, 2024, from 2:00-4:00 pm ET. Cremation arrangements have been made and a private interment will be held at a later date. Evans Mortuary is serving the family of Mr. Elmer H. Steelman Sr.
