Emma Lou (Sutton) Wheeler of Fairfield Glade, TN, age 87, born November 5, 1934, passed away on October 31, 2022. Born in Petersburg, IN. She was a graduate of Indiana State University and is a retired elementary school teacher.

She was preceded in death by her parents Elmer Sutton and Geneva Ruth (Davis) Sutton; brother Robert L. Sutton and spouse Carole (Haury) Sutton.

She is survived by her husband of 65 years James H. Wheeler, age 87 of Fairfield Glade, TN; Daughter Jayne Anne (Wheeler) Bush and spouse Donald M. Bush of Elgin, IL; Grandchildren Michael Sean Bush, USCG, and spouse Shawna M. (Wagner) Bush of Plymouth, MA, Shannon Kathleen (Bush) Michal and spouse Jeff Michal of Reston, VA; great-granddaughters Ella Madison Bush of Plymouth, MA, and Lillian (Lily) Michal of Reston, VA; brothers James L. Sutton and spouse Diane K. (Tincher) Sutton of Circleville, OH; and several nieces and nephews.

As of this date, there will be no service. In remembrance, memorial donations can be made to the charity of personal choice.
