WARTBURG, Tenn. — Frozen Head State Park invites the community to celebrate local history and heritage at the 44th Annual Heritage Day Festival, taking place this Saturday, October 11th, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the newly opened historic Stonecipher Kelly Homeplace, located at 141 Beech Fork Road.
Visitors can enjoy a full day of family-friendly activities, including a double header of vintage baseball, live historical demonstrations such as cast iron cooking, blacksmithing, cider making, basket weaving, broom making, crosscut sawing, woodworking, and shingle making, as well as local arts and crafts vendors, hay rides, homemade ice cream, Amish donuts, food trucks, and a Model A car show. Tours of the historic Stonecipher Kelly Home will also be available throughout the day.
