MainStreet Dayton’s annual PumpkinFest returns for a family-friendly celebration of autumn in downtown Dayton on Friday, October 24, and Saturday, October 25. The two-day event features a variety of activities, local performances, crafts, vendors, and treats.
Friday kicks off with the Punkin Chuckin’ Contest at 5 p.m. on the courthouse square, open to children and youth up to sixth grade, along with entertainment at Centennial Park by ‘Summer of Love’ and Johnson’s Tae Kwon Do.
Saturday includes a 1 p.m. performance by Center Stage Dance, a 4 p.m. costume contest, and a 5 p.m. show by Boots and Roses, followed by trick-or-treating in downtown Dayton starting at 5 p.m. and a Monster Mash Dance Party with DJ Tiffany Salley at 6:30 p.m. in Centennial Park. Vendors will be open both days.
