Emergency first responders made a water rescue on Tellico Lake late this afternoon at an area known as “The Bluffs”. Officials say it is a popular spot for cliff jumping. Early reports indicated a 19-year-old male was complaining of a back injury. Deputies, EMS, Tellico Village Fire and London County EMA, were able to reach the swimmer and transport him to land where he was evaluated by medics.
