FOURTH RESIDENT OF PUTNAM COUNTY NURSING HOME DIES WHILE BEING TREATED FOR COVID-19

Signature HealthCARE of Putnam County announced this morning a fourth resident of their nursing home died while being treated for COVID-19. Three other residents died at the facility earlier this month and one was asymptomatic. Thirty-two residents at the facility have tested positive for the virus, along with 19 staff members. Those residents are in an isolated area of the facility while being treated. Officials say the 19 staff members with COVID-19 are in self isolation at home.
