Frances Mata Trillo, May 22, 1958 – May 9, 2024

Frances Mata Trillo “Pancha” of Crossville Tennessee. She passed away at the age of 65 on Wednesday morning. Frances had a heart attack in the middle of the night and had to get transported to a hospital in Knoxville for emergency surgery. She passed due to complications post-surgery. She had her sister Becky Strickland by her side the whole way. A private ceremony was held with only close family members present.

Frances was born on May 22nd, 1958 in San Antonio, Texas. When she was 15, she moved to Emporia, Kansas where she remained for the following 40 years. She then moved to Crossville, Tennessee in 2013 where she remained until her passing. She was a mother of 3 (Patricia Moreno, Raymond Rubio, & Yvon Rodriguez), with 14 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.

Frances was loved by many, as she made friends in every corner of life she crossed. Her most cherished trait was joking around and making everyone laugh. She was particularly close to her grand-daughter, Vanessa Moreno, whom kept in contact with her consistently through her medical struggles. Frances had a bright and energetic personality and was known for her ability to sense when people needed help. She touched many lives with her laughter, generosity, friendship, and passion for life. She will be missed by many.
