Frances Ogletree, 90
OGLETREE, FRANCES ANNE, Fairfield Glade, Tennessee, passed away Saturday morning, June 27, 2026, at the Preserve. Age 90. She was born February 5, 1936 in Dyersburg, Tennessee.Mrs. Ogletree was a charter member of Fairfield Glade First Baptist Church and an active member until she passed away. Frances Anne was a successful businesswoman as owner/broker of Frances Anne Gwin Realty, starting the company in 1986 and running the business until her retirement in 2000. She was an avid golfer and fan of the UT Vols football and women’s basketball teams. Most of all, she had a great love for her husband, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. On June 25, 2011, she married her husband of fifteen years, Benjamin H. Ogletree,Jr and he survives her passing along with her son, Julius William Gwin III of Cocoa, Florida, daughter, Mary Helen McHugh of Crossville, TN and son-in-law, James M. Hudson, four grandchildren; Maggie Anne McHugh, Katie Bishop McHugh, Cody T. Gwin and Hunter B. Gwin, three great grandchildren; Mckinlee Ray Gwin , Adaline C. Gwin, and Emmeline H Gwin, as well as her brother and sister-in-law; Fred and Liz Johnson Jr. of Titusville. She was preceded in death by her parents; Thomas Fred and Mary Johnson. At Frances’ request, cremation has taken place. A small gathering of family and friends will take place at a later date to celebrate her life.
