Funeral services for Frank A. “Bim” Brendel, Jr., age 82, of Burkesville, Kentucky, will be Saturday, March 16, at 1 p.m. at Burkesville Baptist Church (372 North Main Street, Bukesville, KY 42717), with burial to follow in Scott Cemetery. Family will receive friends after 2 p.m. Friday, March 15 until 8 a.m. Saturday at Norris-New Funeral Home in Burkesville. Visitation will continue from 10 a.m. until 12 noon Saturday at Burkesville Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Dale Hollow Marina Association Scholarship Fund. Survivors include widow, Pat Brendel of Burkesville; children, Patty Brendel of Burkesville, Charlette Bellew of Benton, Louisiana, Lillian Rebstock of Franklin, Kentucky, Frances Fields of Nashville, Tennessee, and Frank Brendel, III, of Burkesville; eleven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. Norris-New Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
