Frank Leslie Wright, 87, of Spring City, Tennessee, passed away peacefully at his home on June 29, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family.
Born on July 24, 1938, in Shelby County, Indiana, Frank lived a life defined by service, hard work, and devotion to those he loved. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy from 1956 to 1959 with the Ninth Naval District before continuing his service in the U.S. Naval Reserve until 1962.

After his military service, Frank enjoyed a long career with Delphi, a division of General Motors, retiring in 2000 after years of dedicated service.
Frank was a proud member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, where he was honored to serve as President of his local Aerie. He treasured the friendships he made through the organization and believed in helping others and giving back to his community.

After retirement, Frank settled in Spring City, Tennessee, where he enjoyed life on the lake, spending time with his beloved dogs, and making memories with family and friends. He found joy in the simple things and was happiest surrounded by the people he loved.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents, Frank Leslie Wright Sr. and Ethel Wright; his son, David Wright; and his siblings, Carl “Butch” Wright, Shirley Knoll, and Patty Mills.

He is lovingly remembered by his son, Terry Wright, and daughter-in-law, Debra Wright; his grandchildren, Kim Philebaum, Chris Wright, Andrew Wright, and August Wright; along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

Frank will be remembered for his love of family, his faithful service to his country, his strong work ethic, and his loyal friendship. His quiet strength, generous heart, and steady presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

The family takes comfort in knowing that his legacy lives on through the memories he created and the lives he influenced. Though he is no longer with us, he will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved him.

A graveside service with military honors will be Sunday. July 19, 2026 at 2PM in Spring City Memorial Gardens with Rev. Paul Forgey officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that those wishing to honor Frank spend time with those they love, enjoy the beauty of the outdoors, and cherish the moments that matter most, just as Frank did.
