Frankie Ray Moser, 68

Frankie Ray Moser, age 68, of Sweetwater, passed away on Saturday, August 10, 2024. Attended Glenlock Baptist Church, of Sweetwater, Ray was the former Sunday School Superintendent of the Sweetwater Church of God for many years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. A member of the carpenters local #74 of Chattanooga. Former president of Sweetwater Optimist Club, and the Sweetwater Quarter Back Club of the Sweetwater High School for many years. Ray coached Little League football, baseball, and basketball for many years. He was well known for announcing the Little League ball games and the Sweetwater High School football games. He loved being an influence in the lives of young people. He loved the TN Vols.
Preceded in death by his parents: Frank and Lorena Moser, brother: Tommy Nelson Moser, sister-in-law: Geneva “Cookie” Moser, brother-in-law: Ronnie Gossett, father-in-law, and mother-in-law: Bob and Rosell Mullins, several aunts, uncles, and cousins, special friends: Clarence and Libby Hicks.
Survivors include his wife of 42 years: Natalie Mullins Moser, daughter and son-in-law: Kelley Rhea and Charles Todd, of Sweetwater, sons and daughters-in-law: Cory Ray and Megan Moser, of Lebanon, TN, Joshua Lynn Ray and Deadra Moser, of Sweetwater, grandchildren: Courtney Hindman (Corey Young), Cheyenne Runnion, Damarian Taylor, Cora Anne, William Marshall, and Lee Ellen Moser, Deacon Jarvis, and Della June Moser. Great-grandchildren: Zoey, and Zeke Frank, Emma and Dean Young, Blaine Long, Blair Roberts, Blake Mason, Emery Baker, Isla Johnson. Brothers and sisters-in-law: Ronnie Moser, Johnnie Moser, Marshall “Jodie: and Linda Moser, Jeffery and Jane Moser. Sister: Elvia Gossett. Several nieces and nephews. Brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Bobby and Shannon Mullins, Melody Messer, Allen Mullins.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 14, 2024, at Kyker Funeral Homes, Sweetwater, from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. with a celebration of life service to follow at 7:00 P.M. in Kyker’s Chapel with Rev. T.F. Campbell and Rev. Jodie Moser officiating. A private interment will be held later in the Sweetwater Memorial Park with full military honors and Dr. Lon Shoopman officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Sweetwater Optimist Club or the Sweetwater High School Quarterback Club.
