Fred Davis Jr., 81, went to be with his Lord on October 16, 2024. Born in the Ten Mile Community on August 12, 1943, as one of eleven children, to Susie Crowder Davis and Fred Davis Sr. Fred worked as a tractor mechanic most of his life. He could take apart a tractor and put it back together in no time. When he wasn’t working, he loved to shoot pool, go fishing or read. He also cherished his time with family and friends.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife Gail Davis, two daughters, Carissa Ford and Sonya Reagor (Howard), granddaughter, Alexia Reagor, sister, Martha Sue Anderson and many nieces and nephews that will miss him dearly.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2024 at 12:00 noon at Kyker Funeral Home in Sweetwater. Graveside services will be at Sewee Church of God Cemetery beginning at 1:00 pm with Pastor Darrell Griffis officiating.
