Freddie Howard Kilby, 81

Mr. Freddie Howard Kilby, age 81 of Spring City, passed away on Tuesday, February 3rd, 2026, at the Spring City Care and Rehab Center. He was born on October 13, 1944, in Rockwood. Freddie was a loving and devoted father, grandfather, husband, and brother. He worked as a truck driver with Coca-Cola for over 46 years. He loved working on cars and trucks, fishing, camping, and spending time in the Smokey Mountains. He is preceded in death by his wife: Janey Kilby; parents: Oscar Kilby & Eva Mae Jenkins Kilby Lane; Stepfather: Willis Lane; twin brother: Tom Eddie Kilby. He is survived by:

Children: Jeremie Kilby (April), Tina Kilby, and Sheena Kilby

Grandchildren: Jacob Kilby, Braden Kilby, Alexis Kilby, Damion Goldberg, Shyann Goldberg, Kayden Goldberg, Mason Goldberg, Briley Walters, Dillinger Goldberg, Neyland Goldberg, Grayson Goldberg, Kyson Goldberg, Tristan Long, Matthew Goldberg, and Wyatt Goldberg

Great Grandchildren: Paisley Waldo, Raylon Waldo, Aubrey Kilby, Isabella Goldberg, Lane Sneed, and Easton Keener

Siblings: Evelyn Jackson, aka “Sissy”, Billy Ray Kilby, and Larry Lane

along with a host of nieces, nephews, and other extended family members and friends

The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 7th, from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm ET at Evans Mortuary in Rockwood. Funeral service will follow at 7:00 pm ET. Graveside and interment services will be held on Sunday, February 8th, 2026, at 1:30 pm in the Glen Alice Cemetery in Rockwood. Evans Mortuary is serving the family of Mr. Freddie Howard Kilby.
