Goff – Funeral Services for Garlin Wilson, age 74, of the Green Pond Community, will be conducted on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at 11:00 AM from The Chapel of Goff Funeral Home. Rev. Glen Murphy will officiate with interment to follow in the Wilson Cemetery. Mr. Wilson was born on Friday, July 7, 1950, in the Dry Hollow Community of Overton County, to the late BJ and Lillie Mae Lambert Wilson. Mr. Wilson passed away on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at the Livingston Regional Medical Center. Mr. Wilson was a security guard working in Ohio. He was a United States Army Vietnam War Veteran serving as a Sergeant. He enjoyed gardening and was a Christian. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Merita Murphy Wilson; daughter, Sherry Feltner; stepsons, Davey Vaughn and Tim Vaughn; brother and sister-in-law, Harold and Karen Wilson of Ohio; his buddies, Rev. Glen Murphy and Chris Murphy. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Emmie Feltner; sister, Glenda Wilson; and brother, Doug Wilson.
