GARO B. SWICEGOOD age 88 of Crossville, TN passed away July 7, 2024. He was born September 15, 1935, in Flushing, NY, the son of George and Reba Wilson Swicegood. He was a successful businessman having owned S & S Floor Covering. He was also a veteran having proudly served our country in the United States Navy and a member of Faith Baptist Church. He was part of the Fair Park Senior Center and loved playing golf, ping pong, pitching horseshoes and playing cards.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years- pat Swicegood of Crossville, TN, children- Teresa Sisco of Crossville, Deborah Richardson also of Crossville, Gary Swicegood of Rockwood, TN and Vanessa Oran and her husband Waylon of Kingston, TN and many special grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers- Grom Swicegood and Goth Swicegood, sister- Vayon Swicegood and son-in-law- Larry Sisco.

Funeral services will be held Thursday July 11, 2024, at 7pm at Hood Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 5pm-7pm at the funeral home. Graveside Committal will be held Friday July 12, 2024, at 12noon at Hebbertsburg Cemetery.
