Gary Dean Walker, 77, of Crossville, TN, formerly of Boone County, WV, passed away on Sunday, September 11, 2022, at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Huntington, WV. He was born July 1, 1945, in Van, WV to the late Ted and Cleo Walker. He was also preceded in death by a grandchild, Allexis Vest; nephew, Larry Lee Walker (Pam); niece, Betty Walker Bartz (Brad Raney). Gary is survived by his wife of 29 years, Deen Ann Walker; daughter, Myra Lea Justice (Joseph) of Proctorville, OH; stepdaughter, Kiersten (Matt) Herbert of Independence, LA; stepson, Robbie (Krista) Smith of Fraziers Bottom, WV; grandchildren, Justin Cales (Cynthia) Magna of Utah, Andrea Justice of Proctorville, OH, Annaleise Vest of Nitro, WV, Mikala Young of TX; sister Eunice Taylor and her sons, David and Ronnie of Marmet, WV; brother, Larry Walker of Crossville, TN; nieces, June Cobb (Mark) of Seth, WV and Chrissy (Bill) Burt of Nicholson, GA and nephews, Teddy Walker of Mt. Olive, WV and Paul Walker of Huttonsville, WV. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, September 17, 2022, at Bilbrey Funeral Home in Crossville, TN.
